However, it would be NOT be accurate to interpret this article narrowly that Option ARMs are a bad choice in all situations. For example, if you are actually DEPOSITING PRINCIPLE PAYMENTS in another side account, as we recommend, then an Option ARM might allow you to more rapidly accrue your mortgage principal in order to PAY OFF YOUR HOME FASTER then a tradional 30 yr. amortized mortgage.
